Symptoms: Severe depression.
Day 9 has been tough. I’m so tired of fruits and vegetables. My pantry and fridge is filled with food I want but can’t have. If it wasn’t for this blog, I would eat a huge steak right now. You guys are keeping me on track. Thanks. Even if my stomach thinks you’re ruining my life.
BREAKFAST:
I juiced an orange, two apples, and a carrot.

LUNCH:
I packed an orange, banana, trail mix, and some cut up veggies.

DINNER:
Nicki tried to manufacture some lettuce wraps with some lettuce and guacamole. She also cut up some cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes and raw edamame.

I think I decided that I may enjoy a bit of turkey on Thanksgiving. It’s more psychological than anything. Don’t hate me, just know this is me right now…

how do you get your daily recomendation for protien and carbs?!
you can’t be getting enough with just fruits, veggies, and nuts. just worried that you might get certain deficiencies.. and protien and carbohydrate deficiencies aren’t so pretty..
His protein and carbs are from the nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits. There is often a misconception that we get our best source of these things from pastas, breads and meat. However, the protein and carbs that we get from the raw diet are good and digest properly in our bodies, unlike the ones we get from the Standard American Diet.

Hey Kassem. So i started a new diet today too. Mine is alot different tho. i still feel your pain. I would love to cook up a steak and eat it right now. Your doing good.
As for thanksgiving, im Canadian, so ours has passed already, but go ahead, eat. Just eat in smaller portions and alot of greens. Even bring yourself a bag of nuts. Eat those 20 mins before you eat anything else so you can feel more full before you eat turkey and fix in’s
